Sometimes discrimination and harassment is obvious and deliberate, but the negative impacts of some behaviors are not as easy to recognize, and can even at times be unintentional.
If employers and employees consider what types of behavior are unacceptable at work, they can recognize and avoid them. This will also make it easier for employees to appropriately respond if they see such actions from coworkers.
